How Olamide Ended AFRIMA2015 With Electrifying Performance

YBNL CEO, Olamide closed the 2015 edition of All African Music Awards with a fantstic performance which sent the crowd into a jolly mood. Olamide opened his performance with ‘Durosoke’, which was followed by ‘Goons mi’.
The rapper who won the Best West African Act Award on the night, also thrilled the excited fans with Lagos Boys, Eledami, Story for the gods and then closed the night with his May, 2015 hit single, Shakitibobo.
Olamide, who gave one of his best performances at the event also saw one of his dope label acts, Adekunle Gold walk away with the award for the ‘Revelation of the Year’….

Why Nigeria’s elite are angry with Buhari – Presidency

The Presidency on Sunday said President Muhammadu Buhari had not been in the good reckoning of a vocal section of the country’s elite because of his performance in office. The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, stated this in an opinion titled “June 12 tsunami and the ones who won’t forgive Buhari” made available to journalists in Abuja. Although Shehu did not mention names, former President Olusegun Obasanjo has been in the forefront of the anti-Buhari campaign, asking the President not to seek re-election over alleged non-performance. Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, has denied police allegations indicting him in the Offa bank robbery saga, saying he has never sponsored, funded or supported political thuggery.  In a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communication, Muyideen Akorede, this evening, the Governor described the allegations as false and baseless.  The statement in part reads “Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed denies the allegations of supporting political thuggery or any other acts of criminality as alleged by the Nigeria Police or the suspects allegedly arrested in connection with the tragic Offa robbery. Neither has he at any time funded or provided arms to any individual or group in the state or anywhere in the country.
