YBNL CEO, Olamide closed the 2015 edition of All African Music Awards with a fantstic performance which sent the crowd into a jolly mood. Olamide opened his performance with ‘Durosoke’, which was followed by ‘Goons mi’. The rapper who won the Best West African Act Award on the night, also thrilled the excited fans with Lagos Boys, Eledami, Story for the gods and then closed the night with his May, 2015 hit single, Shakitibobo. Olamide, who gave one of his best performances at the event also saw one of his dope label acts, Adekunle Gold walk away with the award for the ‘Revelation of the Year’….

One of the Nigerians deported from the United Kingdom on November 25, Wednesday, has narrated his story to Detained Voices. The United Kingdom has deported 50 Nigerians after having committed different offenses while in the country. The deportees, made of 44 males and six females arrived into Nigeria aboard a chartered B767 aircraft belonging to PITAN Airways. The federal government had recently expressed concern over the UK’s plan to deport some 29,000 of its nationals demanding that due process be followed before any Nigerian is sent back from the UK. Press statement from the presidency President Muhammadu Buhari will leave Abuja tomorrow, Thursday, November 26 for Malta to participate in the 2015 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting which begins in the island nation on Friday. The Commonwealth is made up of Britain, Nigeria and 51 other countries that work together to pursue common goals and promote development, democracy, peace, security and good governance.  President Buhari and other Heads of State and Government who will be in Malta for this year's summit are expected to deliberate on fresh Commonwealth initiatives on development and climate change with a view to adding greater value to ongoing global efforts in these areas. A new Secretary-General of the Commonwealth who will take over from the incumbent, Kamalesh Sharma, will be announced at the summit, which will also feature the presentation of a progress report on the eradication of polio. The Head of the Commonwealth, Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, will for
