Football: Hazard Denies Mourinho Rift

Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has dismissed the idea that he has a problematic relationship with manager Jose Mourinho. And the Belgium international has hinted that he intends to remain at Stamford Bridge for the foreseeable future. The 24-year-old won a host of individual awards after a superb 2014/15 campaign, during which he helped Chelsea to Premier League and Capital One Cup glory. However, he has struggled to recapture that form this season and the Blues have also been poor in relation to last term, claiming just their fourth League win when they beat Norwich 1-0 on Saturday. It has been suggested that Hazard’s relationship with Mourinho has deteriorated and even that he may be angling for a transfer to Real Madrid. But, when asked if there was an issue with the manager, Hazard said: “I heard a lot of things about this but no, everything is good with him. “I don’t have a problem with him, he is the best manager. He is the best manager for Chelsea and we hope we can win a lot of trophies together. “Maybe not this season because it will be difficult, but next season and on.”
