Alas! this man became extra-famous some months back with a scene in a movie in which majority might not even remember or know its title where he altered, the most used sentence on the streets of Nigeria “Gerarahere” . Since the release of the movie, he has gone from glory to glory as even Popular American international Rap Star 50 Cent reposted it on his instagram account. He has also featured in countless numbers of Music videos which we don’t expect him to have featured for free. He has also been an important Ambassador for Nigeria’s telecommunication giant, Etisalat . No doubt Francis Odega must have more zeros in his bank account for being creative with GERRARAHERE which in it’s original form means ‘Get Out of Here’. The bigger story is not about Mr. Francis Odega, it is about the creativity of the brain behind the popularity of the statement. Gossip Mill Nigeria who are Popularly known for Posting News and Comic videos directly on their Facebook page few days back went on instagram to call out Francis Odega and his management stating that they played a very vital role in bringing the video to limelight after cropping it from a Youtube Channel called BestNollyTV it had already been on there for months and didn’t go viral till Gossip Mill Nigeria posted it on their facebook page on May 17, 2015. After carrying out our own investigations we found facts in their statement as the infamous video had been on youtube since last year but only started going viral after Gossip Mill Nigeria reposted it in May.
